
HOW TO BOOK
* I do not book anyone when my books are closed.
* Pricing is not given until books are open and your project is chosen.
* I do not tattoo minors, even with parent consent.

This form will get all the details of the tattoo you're wanting. To save time and hassle, I do not offer in-person consults so make sure to be specific with what you are wanting in the inquiry form. I get very detail oriented as it gets closer to your appointment and I make sure that I know all details you would tell me in an in-person consult via email about a week or so before your appointment!

My books do NOT have to be open for you to fill out a form. You can fill out a form at any time. My books do have to be open for your email to be considered so please wait until my books open to send an email!
S T E P T W O
I typically will post on my Instagram and announce when my books are opening again as it gets closer to the date of them opening. There should also be a count down on the home page of this website when my books will be opening next for those who don't have Instagram! I only open my books twice a year so make sure to put the date on your calendar and fill out an inquiry form to get email updates! Once I open my books, that's when you will send your email with inspiration photos and a straight-on photo of your body where you would like the tattoo! Make sure you send it to my booking email (denisegarnertattoo@gmail.com).

When my books do open, they are only open for a few hours and ONLY the emails sent when my books are open are considered. If you email when my books are closed, you will be asked to email again when they re-open to make it fair to everyone who has been waiting.

S T E P T H R E E
Once my books close and I am no longer accepting any more emails, I will go over all emails that come in and put them into folders based off of my interest level in each design. This process can take a few days so be patient with a reply for at least 3 days after my books open/close.

You will get a reply whether or not I accept your project or not. If I accept your project, you will get an email with pricing and a deposit/custom design amount needed to book. If your design is not chosen, I will let you know why and/or send you some recommendations of other artists to check out instead.
S T E P F O U R
If your project is chosen and once I receive your Venmo deposit, I will either send you the link to book for the month(s) that I am booking for at that time or send you some available dates to book. If sent the link, you will be able to go in and book the appointment yourself so that you can choose the best day for you! Make sure to do this as soon as possible because if the months are booked before you can book an appointment, you will have to wait until I reopen my books to book your appointment.

If your tattoo is a custom project (not a pre-drawn design), I usually draw up your design 1-3 days before your appointment and I send your design to you (via email) before you show up to the appointment. The only time you do not get your design ahead of time is when you are doing a freehand piece!
Most artists do not allow you to see your piece until you arrive. However, I understand the anxiety that can bring and I choose to share the design with you beforehand and make all changes (if needed) before you show up to your appointment!
